React Presents - News Flash

We are thrilled to announce ZEDS DEAD returning for a massive two-night run with DEADBEATS CHICAGO, going down at Aragon Ballroom on Friday, October 19th and Saturday, October 20th. Supporting acts include SUB FOCUS, BARELY ALIVE, SAY MY NAME, WHIPPED CREAM, DNMO and more!

Tickets are on sale now. A bundle package for both nights is also available.

Since launching their record label Deadbeats in early 2016, Zeds Dead have grown their brand into bass music’s most formidable and friendly presence, evolving into a collective and touring concert series, not to mention a reliable beacon of true north for seasoned fans and newcomers alike.

This October’s installment of Deadbeats Chicago is proof positive of their ethos, featuring a who’s-who lineup of the very best in dubstep, drum and bass, trap, and beyond. Their productions have both set the pace for and broken the mold of modern dubstep, with their remixes of “Eyes On Fire” and “Knights In White Satin becoming timeless hits, while their original productions like “Hadouken” and “Lights Go Down” continue to push at the boundaries of genre lines for what lies ahead.

Featured over the two-night run are names old and new that every fan of heavy electronic music should know. Friday night features drum and bass legend Sub Focus, whose hits like “Timewarp“, “Rock It“, and remix of Rusko’s “Hold On” have solidified him as one of the all-time most influential producers in bass music. Additional acts include tear-out dubstep maestros Barely Alive and Whipped Cream, whose genre-free, razor-sharp take on heavy bass knows no boundaries.

Saturday shows off the likes of Say My Name, whose combination of hardstyle and trap has reinvented and invigorated both sounds. Additional acts include DNMO, who has found an intersection between laidback beats and headbanging synth leads that few knew existed, and a surprise guest who will be announced at a later date.
