React Presents - News Flash

Every month, the React Presents team puts their heads together and composes a playlist of the songs we’ve had stuck in our heads. Lately, we’ve been in kind of a nostalgic mood, sharing our faves from our teenage and early adult years, aka the 2000s. Dipping into selections from the best of rock, hip hop, electronic, pop, as well as then-emerging scenes like emo and blog house, we take a fun romp down memory lane with selections from the likes of Vampire Weekend, Bloc Party, My Chemical Romance, The Killers, Lil Wayne, Ja Rule, Missy Elliott, Pharrell, Gorillaz, The Postal Service, Daft Punk, Justice, MSTRKRFT, At The Drive In, Metric, Mac Dre, Major Lazer, Gnarls Barkley, and MORE! There’s 50 songs in all, lovingly arranged for premium listening. Sorry, not sorry!

Oh and in case you forgot: the 2000s was also a peak time for guilty pleasure listening. We’re talkin’ “Drops Of Jupiter” and “Dare You To Move” type beats. We’ve got a separate 20-song jaunt of the very best, most obnoxious tracks from the aughts for your listening pleasure below. Kewl!
