After 120 days of January, it’s finally Spring. We made it! To celebrate, we’re hosting a special SPRING AWAKENING LUNCH BREAK edition with YEHME2. This Wednesday, May 9th, we will be returning to the legendary JBTV studio where we’ll be clubbin’ and grubbin’ on some Italian cuisine from BarTucci and delicious mixed beverages by our friends over at Maker’s MarkTune in to React Presents’ Facebook page at 1pm CST to catch all the action.

YehMe2, aka Josh Young, is one of Chicago’s most prolific producers and DJs of the modern trap era. His production work as part of Flosstradamus on their remix of Major Lazer’s “Original Don” set off a wildfire of interest in bass-driven hip-hop as futuristic dance. In 2016, Young transitioned to YehMe2, a solo project that encompasses Young’s vision for the intersection of hip-hop and dance, delving more deeply into sampling and heavy rap beats than the booming. Two years later, Young has comfortably hit his stride with incredible tracks like his A-Trak collaboration “Prayer Hands” (LISTEN HERE), “H.I.T.P.” with Ricky Remedy (LISTEN HERE), and a Soundcloud stacked with remixes, bootlegs, and live sets.

Of course, we couldn’t have a proper Lunch Break without some fire food selections. BarTucci (3426 N Harlem Ave) will be serving up impressive contemporary Italian dishes delicious and unique to the Bartucci name, specializing in fresh pasta and homemade focacce. Also joining in the fun as our industry guests, are the fine folks at RaveChasers.
