With Summertime Chi in full swing, we are stoked to bring our fans the LUNCH BREAK JULY EDITION featuring legendary Chicago House and Techno DJs, PAUL JOHNSON AND DJ HYPERACTIVE. This Friday, July 13th, Lunch Break will take place at JBTV’s studio with delicious food by Joy District’s Parlay restaurant and cocktails provided by our friends over at Maker’s Mark. Tune in to React Presents’ Facebook page this Friday at 1pm CST to catch all the action!

Paul Johnson was born and raised on the south side of Chicago, the birthplace of house music where he started Doing in the mid-80s and began producing in 1990. Over the past 20+ years he has produced and released over 445 EP’s for some of the most consistent labels like Dance Mania, Casual, Relief, Dusttraxx, Peacefrog and Moody Recordings which sold over 3.5 million copies of his 1999’s hit record ‘Get Get Down’ worldwide. His distinctive rhythmic and soulful sound is what keeps house music fans craving more.

Chicago born and bred DJ, Producer Joseph Manumaleuna aka DJ Hyperactive needs little introduction to those versed in the history of techno. Honing his skills in the highly influential scene and sound of Chicago in the early 90s, DJ Hyperactive gained instant international recognition and has since gone to play the most legendary and lauded events and venues over the last 20+ years. Over the course of his career, he has produced over 100 remixes and original tracks, including classics such as ‘Venus’, ‘Wide Open’, ‘Music Box’, and more. His story continues with the experience and perspective that only a true veteran can possess.
