Flux Pavilion Hits Concord On His ‘Around The World In 80 Raves’ Tour!

On Friday, May 19, iconic bass legend Flux Pavilion will be touching down at Concord Music Hall for a riveting DJ performance as part of his newly announced “Around The World In 80 Raves” tour! Tickets to the show are available for purchase now via Ticketfly.com.

Flux’s interpretation of the 1873 literary classic by Jules Verne, “Around the World in 80 Days,” will feature a slew of epic tour stops around the greatest venues in Australia, New Zealand, North America and more. Besides his own, unique strain of powerful bass concoctions, he will be joined at Concord by the master of bass’s many forms, Kayzo, and UK-based creator of soulful drum and bass bliss Wilkinson. Together, the group is primed to bring the heat to Chicago’s committed bass music family.

“I have been travelling around the world for 8 years playing shows and seen some amazing places and met some amazing people. This tour is a celebration of the Global Electronic music scene and I’m really proud and excited to bring our sound to every corner I can find.“ – Flux Pavilion

In addition to his acclaimed series of album releases and headlining tours across the globe, Flux Pavilion’s long list of credits includes an official remix of the Star Wars Rebels theme, a sampling from Kanye West and Jay-Z for their 2011 collaborative album Watch The Throne, and  a featured track in the 2012 video game Need for Speed: Most Wanted. His classic tracks “I Can’t Stop,” “Bass Canon” and “Blow The Roof” have remained as some of the most defining anthems in EDM’s history, cementing Flux as one of the founding members of the genre’s epic rise to popularity.

His “Around The World In 80 Raves” tour announcement comes on the heels of his most recent release, this time in the form of a two-single collection with vocal features from Cammie Robinson and Turin Brakes. Each of the tracks display Flux’s proven ability to combine the melodic with the powerful, resulting in a listening experience that propels the excitment of his May Chicago performance even further.
