React Presents - News Flash

On Friday, August 18th from 1:00PM to 2:00PM CST, tune in to React’s Facebook page for the crowd-pleasing series LUNCH BREAK takes it to the streets in this month’s North Coast Music Festival inspired livestream. With Summer’s Last Stand just around the corner, we invite our friends and fans to soak up the sun while we #TakeABreak with thriving Chicago-famed producer MANIC FOCUS.

Manic Focus is the electronic music project of John “JmaC” McCarten, a Chicago-based producer originally hailing from the Twin Cities. Manic Focus’ music is known for its multi-dimensional sound, incorporating elements of soul, dubstep, hip-hop, blues and funk, as well as smooth vocal samples, heavy-hitting bass lines, and the occasional rowdy rhymes of hip-hop artists.

Joining us as the suave guest of honor is the California grown forerunners of all things festival accessories related, Grassroots Chicago. Grassroots has been a juggernaut in the festival circuit bringing to fruition massive collaborations with the likes of bands such as STS9, Umphrey’s Mcgee, Method Man and Griz to name a few.

With music and swag covered we wanted to ensure that our guest aren’t dancing on empty bellies so we enlisted the Chicago jumbo slice staple, Bacci’s Pizza. While we take a break under the beautiful sunlit Chicago skyline at the React HQ, we know the thirst can often become too real, so our friends over at Red Bull and Monaco will be providing a plethora of flavors to help our guest wash down a good time.

Tune into the livestream next Friday, August 18th at 1:00PM CST as React Presents invites all friends, fans, offices and industry colleagues far and wide to engage in an enjoyable pre-NCMF boogie with the best that Chicago has to offer. Don’t miss Manic Focus perform LIVE at North Coast Music Festival and grab your GA, VIP and Single Day tickets before it’s too late at northcoastfestival.com.
